To all ভাই, It has been a few months since many of you have been stuck in your dormitories without the the freedom to meet your বন্ধু. Even as the situation in Singapore is well-controlled, many of you may be worried about the rising number of deaths in your home countries – where your father, mother, wife, and “baby” are at. It is difficult for you, and I sincerely hope that your family and friends are safe back at home. Stay strong! ^-^ Lastly, a big “ধন্যবাদ” for all that you have done for Singapore. ভাল থেকো আবার দেখা হবে Sophia

Dear Migrant brother, I know its scary being alone during a pandemic in a foreign country. Its scary enough moving to a foreign country alone, to be away from family, among people who look and speak differently. When I first left Singapore for America in 2018, I was terrified too as I knew no one. Through my time in America, I learnt that people who are different from me can be my friends too, and that many people were willing to help me out. I want you to know too that you are not alone. There are many of us around who are supporting you. I’m back as a pharmacist in SG to help. You might receive a call from me about your medications 🙂

India – Garima Tewari

Dear Migrant brothers Please keep up the courage and patience you have shown in face of this disease. Everything that happens here on will only be better and you will definitely see your families and loved ones again! Best wishes for your bright future and speedy recovery!

This pandemic shows me a brighter side of Singapore. I always follow Facebook news feed and comments section, just to see how people think. Reading that I can tell there is more positivity. Singapore has taught me so much about Values of life. Care for others, never walkway from responsibility. These days will pass but I will remember the words of courage by the people of Singapore, their prayer. It makes difference. My heartfelt thanks to all those volunteers, nurses, doctors, NGO’S, Ministers & speaker sir for the care you guys showed We can’t repay your debt, sacrifices that you made for us. But all of you & Singapore will remembered in our prayers for you forever
